The April showers came to inevitably bring some May flowers. April also brought some warm days that teased summer in Milwaukee. We worked on some Spring cleaning and eating; eating clean and with lots of color. Citrus Broiled Salmon with a fresh herb sauce Topped with pomegranate seeds Plated with carrot rice, broccolini, garlic basmati and ribeye Early in the month, we celebrated our smart, sweet, Sephora and Harry Potter loving niece Camila's 10th birthday. A quaint gathering at Tita's house with pozole and fantastic desserts. Tita and Camila Happy Birthday! In the middle of the month we honored my lifelong friend, my "framily", Alyssa for her bridal shower. I am incredibly happy she found a real one and excited to be part of their love story. I also got to spend time with my family and close friends, and was literally surrounded by my nieces the whole time. It was a beautiful day.
